SS24 Collection Concept

TRIMALHAS unveiled its new PROTOPIA SS 24 collection at PREMIÈRE VISION and MODTISSIMO, presenting an innovative vision inspired by the emotional states that drive us to achieve fulfillment in our daily lives.

"We are moving toward a state where discomfort leads to feelings of endorphins, enthusiasm, joy, and happiness. But in our quest for the ‘PROTÓPICO’ state, we seek self-improvement rather than self-perfection. Thus, the concept of Protopia is born: a more proactive and pragmatic version of utopias, focused on real and achievable change. PROTOPIA aims to evoke sensations essential to our well-being."

"Good vibes only"

The collection’s manifesto served as the guiding principle for our creative direction, resulting in the creation of 3D avatars that transport TRIMALHAS into an immersive digital universe. To represent this concept, we developed a virtual world that conveys four distinct moods, capturing the sensations that the fabrics and colors evoke in the consumer’s daily life.

The PROTOPIA collection is divided into four themes, each tailored to different moments in everyday life. To bring this narrative to life, we created personalized avatars, each with a unique identity. The characters’ styling was developed using 3D-modeled virtual clothing, based on digital scans of TRIMALHAS knitwear.

THE FOUR WORLDS OF PROTOPIA

OXYTOCIN

Focused on a sense of well-being and protection, this theme reflects a shift in values, where consumers prioritize products and experiences that nourish and sustain them. The functional knitwear in this line is designed to provide comfort and security in everyday life.

DOPAMINE

Inspired by the vibrant energy of dance and music, this theme symbolizes joy, individuality, and confidence. The product reflects this essence through bold colors and dynamic jacquards, hallmarks of TRIMALHAS.

SEROTONIN

Here, subtle shimmer and versatile, luxurious pieces create a world that exudes happiness, optimism, and stress-free moments. This theme is essential for sophisticated and adaptable styling.

ENDORPHINE

Designed with performance and functionality in mind, this collection reflects the growing demand for clothing that adapts to changing weather conditions. The knits in this collection feature a technological touch, with vibrant colors that ensure a seamless transition between sports, leisure, and travel.

THE PROTOPIA MASCOT

In every world, we find a knitted dog whose color varies depending on the theme. This mascot symbolizes the essence of TRIMALHAS, representing its classic and timeless knits.

DIGITAL EXPANSION AND IMMERSIVE EXPERIENCE

This project was also rolled out across digital channels, with the creation of visual materials to reinforce the brand’s positioning and communicate the concept. In addition, we developed the design and visitor experience for TRIMALHAS’ booths at the international trade shows Première Vision Paris and Modtíssimo Portugal, ensuring a strong and impactful presence.
