Miked Productions

We believe that every identity should reflect the soul of the project it represents. The branding work for MIKED Productions was born from the desire to create a brand that translated the energy, experience, and vision of @odjmike—the company’s founder—while simultaneously positioning it within a broader universe linked to event production. The brand needed to clearly communicate its current services (DJ), while remaining open to future expansion, including equipment rental, lighting, and other entertainment-related experiences.

Naming & Strategy

The name MIKED arises naturally from the identity of its founder—DJ Mike—but goes beyond a simple personal signature. The word carries a double symbolic meaning: on one hand, it refers directly to the English expression “to be miked”, meaning to be connected to a microphone, ready to be heard. On the other hand, it evokes the idea of being “under Mike’s influence”—entering his frequency, his rhythm, his sonic universe.

MIKED is, therefore, more than a name: it is a state. A shared energy. A kind of positive contagion that spreads across the dance floor. When an event is “miked”, it is tuned, energized, and ready to happen. The brand aims to reflect exactly that—the ability to transform moments into memories through the presence of the right sound, the right light, and a keen reading of the atmosphere and the people.

In this interplay between personal identity and universal language, MIKED establishes itself as a young, vibrant, and expansive brand—rooted in DJing, but with its eyes set on everything that makes a party happen.

The visual identity created stems from a strong contrast between black and white—providing structure, timelessness, and legibility—and a set of vibrant primary colors, inspired by event lights, the colorful buttons on mixing consoles, and the nocturnal atmosphere of parties. This combination creates a visual language with rhythm and emotion, capable of communicating with different audiences, from weddings to more alternative events.

The typography chosen for the brand features a strong presence and contemporary lines, simultaneously conveying confidence and irreverence. To reinforce the brand’s flexibility and dynamic character, we developed several logo variations, adaptable to different formats and communication contexts—allowing the identity to move naturally between the institutional and the informal, the technical and the festive.
